    Description
    I just purchased this Jewelry Casket / Dresser Box from a local estate here in Central Virginia. The box has a striking New-Classical / Egyptian Revival inspired design with fine detail to the solid mahogany case. The brass pillared ornaments have a darkened patina which adds to the vintage look. The interior with tray is done in black felt with mirrored lid. The piece has a nice presence measuring 12 ¼" wide at the feet, 8" deep and 8" high. The box is in very good condition with only some trace surface wear (I DO NOT have the original key, but it is unlocked). This lovely Jewelry Box would make a nice addition to your dresser / vanity display.
