General Description SER
Made of special high-density reaction-bonded silicon carbide, the SER Starbar is a tube with both electrical connections on one end. The hot zone is formed by cutting a double spiral slot which reduces the cross sectional area through which current flows, resulting in higher resistance than the cold end. The cold end is formed by cutting two longitudinal slots along the length of the tube. The SER element is supplied with a ceramic collar cemented to the extremities of the cold end. The cold end of the SER element is flame sprayed with aluminum for a distance of about two inches. Flat braided-aluminum straps are held in compression with stainless steel clamps to this metallized area. The clamp is electrically insulated from the flat braid with high temperature insulation. The aluminum braid is 10 inches (254 millimeters) long and holes are provided for easy connection to the power supply.

Please contact us for other payment types accepted. We will not ship any items paid for with a echeck until the check clears our bank. This could take as many as 10 days.
DOMESTIC SHIPPING
We ship via LTL, USPS, or UPS Ground. If you require a quicker shipping method please contact us for a price quote. When an item is marked Freight please contact us for a shipping quote. A .00 pallet fee will be included with your quote for items shipping on a standard pallet. Items requiring a larger pallet will have a higher pallet fee. We will need to know your zip code and whether the shipment is delivering to a Residential or Commercial address. If you need a lift-gate or not, a telephone number, and what day and time the delivery can be made. We will do everything possible to aid in arranging for delivery or LTL shipping.
If you are picking an item up or arranging your own freight, the Item must be picked up in 10 working days. After 10 days a storage fee of a day will apply unless prior arrangements are made.
INTERNATIONAL SHIPPING
Please contact us for all International Shipments.
For International Freight Shipments we can ship to the US Borders as long as you can provide Transportation from there to your location and have a customs broker to clear the shipment.
RETURNS
Items listed for parts or repair can not be returned. Returned Item MUST be in the ORIGINAL UNALTERED state! Return is VOID if any alterations, repairs, damages, etc have occurred. NO refund will be issued. All items returned must include everything sent, including all original boxes, packing, accessories, hardware, manuals, etc. Serial Numbers must be verified. NO refund will be issued until after return order is complete.

In no event shall Daves Industrial Surplus be liable for consequential, incidental, exemplary, punitive and/or special damages.
This agreement shall be construed in accordance with, and governed in all respects by, the laws of the State of Ohio, without giving effect to principles of conflicts of laws.
