ABOUTE  RUSSIAN CHAROITE
Charoite  has only been known for less than 50 years. Its name is derived from the Chara (or Charo) River in eastern Siberia, Russia. The region in which charoite was discovered is rather difficult to reach, and this is the only location in the world where this material was found.  It is a beautiful purple colour, and contains unusual swirling coloured patterns, with a pearly luster. The white crystalline needles give charoite a very distinctive appearance and depth often forming a swirling pattern of interlocking crystals.
Charoite is a stone of transformation as well as a soul stone that helps you to overcome fear.
